The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office says a 12 year old drowned on Wednesday at the Round Lake Christian Camp in Lakeville. RichlandSource.com reports, the boy has been identified as Melvin Aborbie from Pickerington, which is in the Columbus area. The boy was jumping in to do a swimming test around 4 pm and did not resurface. The investigation by the Ashland County Sheriff said the incident was an accident. The boy’s body was found about 90 minutes after he drove into the Lake. Lifeguards quickly dove in after him, but were unable to locate him.
