The Shelby Daily Globe building has been sold for $40,000 to a company based out of Illinois, according to RichlandSource.com. The Daily Globe building was purchase by Horizon Publications Inc., which owns several local newspapers across the country. Horizon Publications has acquired the Shelby Daily Globe, along with the Willard Times Junction, Firelands Farmer, New London Record and Shoppers Helper.
