More than $17 million in grants has been earmarked by the United States Justice Department for Northern Ohio. Richlandsource.com reports that, Mansfield is set to collect a large amount of the funding. Mansfield will receive 250,000 dollars. The money is to reduce any forensic DNA backlog and provide education training for DNA analyst and to buy equipment, software and training.
