Officials in Galion say the West Nile Virus has been found in mosquitoes that were caught in a trap set by the Galion Health Department.
Confirmation on this came from the Ohio Department of Health.
The Galion Health Department says most people infected with the West Nile Virus won’t experience any illness; however, symptoms experienced by about 20 to 30 percent of people are similar to the flu, which are fever, body aches, joint paint and vomiting. Those with symptoms should talk to their doctor.
