Former Ashland Gas Station To Be Demolished By Fall

A former gas station in Ashland should be demolished by this fall.

RichlandSource.com reports, the city of Ashland is searching for a contractor to demolish the former Eagle Gas Station on Claremont Avenue.   Bids are expected to open on March 17th and finish the project by the end of September.  The project is expected to cost around $150,000. Mayor Matt Miller says, Ashland received a grant, two years ago, from the Ohio Department of Development for up to $250,000.
