A 53 year old man from Plymouth died in a two vehicle accident in Ashland County.
The highway patrol says, the crash took place on US 42, when Emery Back of Plymouth drove left of center and struck a vehicle head-on. Back sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at UH Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland. A 21 year old man from West Salem, who was the driver of the other vehicle, suffered non-life threatening injuries. A portion of US 42 was closed for around 2 hours, due to the crash.
