A 35 year old woman from Ontario was seriously injured in an accident in Ashland County.
The highway patrol says, Roberta Hootman, was westbound on US 30 and swerved into the right lane striking a car, which was driven by a 41 year old man from Ontario.
The woman’s car went off the road and overturned. She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. Hootman sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital. The man did not suffer any injuries. The accident took place on Tuesday, June 20th in Vermillion Township.
