Ashland Mayor Matt Miller is hoping to see the annexation of 91 acres of land in Montgomery Township, into the city of Ashland. Miller said, the city and property owners, have petitioned the county commissioners to annex the land.
The land, located along US 250 and I-71, is one of the fasting growing areas in Ashland, according to the mayor.  Miller told RichlandSource.com, there are developers calling on a weekly basis, who are looking at commercial, retail and restaurants.
Ashland City Council is expected to vote on July 18th, while the commissioner voter should take place within the next few weeks
