The start of the 2013 High School Football Season is less than 2 months away!!!
Here is where WMAN will be on Friday nights this fall.
I’m the youngest voice heard on WMAN. They call me a utility man.
I board operate the sports games you hear through the week, host " The WMAN Sports Grill " as we talk local and Ohio sports each night from 6 - 8 p.m. , and I fill in for the other full time staff when needed. Our production director calls on me when he’s on vacation to take on all of his production duties. In addition to that, I help our sister station Y-105 from time to time.
Besides being in the studio…you can hear me every fall during high school football season calling play by play or adding some colorful commentary. In the winter, I’ll put my two cents in with high school basketball.
Before this great opportunity with WMAN in 2006, I was with the Clear Channel stations in Marion for 4 years.
Outside of radio, I currently reside in Ontario with my wife and our cat.

The Cleveland Indians have won 4 of their last 5 games and on Monday, Tribe 2nd basemen Jason Kipnis and pitcher Corey Kluber, were named Co - American League Players of the Week.
Kipnis over the last 6 games hit .524 with a homerun, 2 doubles, 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.
Kluber went 2-0 over the past week with an .056 ERA and gave up only 1 run in 16 innings. He had 11 strikeouts and only walked 3 batters.
Kluber Could be Key for Tribe
When the season started no one thought Corey Kluber would be a guy the Cleveland Indians would depend on every 5th day.
Now, Kluber is proving he belongs at the big league level. Kluber is getting a chance because Brett Myers has been on the DL since Mid-April.
The most impressive thing about Kluber is that he is getting better and better every start.
Kluber could be a front of the rotation guy for the Indians in the future, if he continues to throw the way he has in the last month.
The Indians starting pitching was a concern entering the season and if Kluber continues to throw well, along with Jimenez, then the Tribe could contend with Detroit in the AL Central.
It will be a big weekend of racing at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend, as they kick off their 52nd season, with the Diamond Cellar Classic.
On Wednesday night, owner Michael Shank and driver Patrick Gallagher, stopped by the WMAN Sports Grille to talk about the big weekend!
