I’m the youngest voice heard on WMAN. They call me a utility man.
I board operate the sports games you hear through the week, host " The WMAN Sports Grill " as we talk local and Ohio sports each night from 6 - 8 p.m. , and I fill in for the other full time staff when needed. Our production director calls on me when he’s on vacation to take on all of his production duties. In addition to that, I help our sister station Y-105 from time to time.
Besides being in the studio…you can hear me every fall during high school football season calling play by play or adding some colorful commentary. In the winter, I’ll put my two cents in with high school basketball.
Before this great opportunity with WMAN in 2006, I was with the Clear Channel stations in Marion for 4 years.
Outside of radio, I currently reside in Ontario with my wife and our cat.
August the 13th was a good day in Cleveland Indians history! If you go way back to August 13th, 1939, it saw Bob Feller throw a complete game three hitter in a 3-0 Tribe win over the White Sox in Cleveland.
August 13th, 2006 was also a good day in Tribe history, when Travis Hafner hit his 6th Grand Slam of the year and it tied the record set by Don Mattingly in 1987.
In the same game (August 13th, 2006) the Indians scored 11 runs in the 1st inning and went on to win 13-0 over the Kansas City Royals in Cleveland.
What a day August the 13th was in Cleveland Indians History......What could August 2013 bring??? We will find out tonight!
