A geezer gangster comedy starring acting greats Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin
Val (Al Pacino) is finally sprung from prison after a 28 year term served for not ratting out a friend. Ex-partner-in-crime Doc (Christopher Walken) picks him up and takes him in as his roommate. Hooking up with another ex-gangster buddy, Alan Arkin, one of the trio is keeping a dangerous secret .
Directed by actor Fisher Stevens, this is a character driven film that has warmth and some hokey comedy. Of course there’s an obligatory Viagra scene. There’s nothing new here but come on. Walken, Pacino and Arkin??? You can’t go wrong.
